The challenge of the Italian Formula 4 Championship promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion is back. After the summer break, Spain will host the Italian F.4 Championship for the sixth and penultimate round of the season, opening the final rush for the title.
After five fiercely contested rounds held up to the beginning of August, it is time to fire up the engines again and reignite the championship battle. Leading the standings is Japanese-Slovakian Kean Nakamura-Berta with Prema Racing, at the top with 246 points.
Behind him, with 191 points, the main rival is Brazilian Gabriel Gomez with US Racing, who has taken over from Sebastian Wheldon as his closest challenger. The American-British driver with Prema Racing, supported by Andretti Global, faced his toughest weekend at Imola, the last round before the break, and now stands third in the standings with 155 points.
In fourth place is Alex Powell, Mercedes junior with R-ace GP, at 125 points, followed by Colombian Salim Hanna with Prema Racing, fifth with 116 points and also leading the Rookie standings reserved for debutants. In this category, Oleksandr Bondarev, a young talent of the Williams Driver Academy with Prema Racing, is making a strong impact.

In the Female Trophy, Emily Cotty with R-ace GP leads the classification with an 11-point advantage over Payton Westcott with Van Amersfoort Racing. Third is Polish driver Kornelia Olkucka with Maffi Racing, coming off a particularly challenging weekend in the championship. Joining the competition at Barcelona will be Mathilda Paatz with Mathilda Racing by AS Motorsport, who already impressed at Mugello in the second round of the Euro 4 Championship.
In the Team standings, Prema Racing commands with a wide margin, followed by US Racing and R-ace GP.
More than 30 drivers are ready to take to the track this weekend.
Friday, September 19: first free practice from 11:54 AM to 12:34 PM and second session from 5:21 PM to 6:01 PM.
Saturday, September 20: qualifying in the morning from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM and from 9:25 AM to 9:40 AM; in the afternoon Race 1 at 12:30 PM.
Sunday, September 21: Race 2 at 11:45 AM and Race 3 at 5:50 PM.
All races will last 30 minutes + 1 lap and will be broadcast live on ACI Sport’s social media pages. The live stream in English will be available on the Facebook and YouTube channels of the Italian F.4 Championship.
In Italy, TV coverage will be provided by ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228, Tivůsat channel 52, and live.acisport.tv): live on Saturday, while Sunday’s races will be shown delayed, with Race 2 at 8:00 PM and Race 3 at 11:30 PM. The English-language broadcast will also be distributed through the wide international television network covering the championship.
